Are drafts of the papers available to people unable to make it on Thursday? Both papers look very interesting!

I'm particularly interested to hear what role divinity might play in book I of the Ethics.

MP: Thanks for posting the info. "God and Anthropos at Yale"--ha!

TL: Hare's paper will be available; I'll have to check about Kosman's, though. (Keep in mind that the event is intended to be a fairly informal "workshop," with all the tinkering and sawdust that might suggest....)

MP: In the meantime, the Hare paper explores the philosophical role theistic notions play in the _NE_ from the outset, not just in X.6-8. The focus is on Aristotle's references to divinity (and to related notions of honor and blessedness) in I.6, I.10, and I.12.

More later. . . .

MW,

Thanks for responding. Of course, I understand that the drafts will be draft; still think it will be interesting to see them, however informal or rough.

Is there any chance your working group has an email list for announcements?

Yes, MP was very cute with his "God and Man" title.
