North

What happened to that shift toward Aristotle? Here we are discussing Plato again. But be patient, since Aristotle is in the pipeline: more on pleasure in NE 7, and then a discussion of G. Lear's book, which I'm late in reviewing.

Tomorrow I go North, assuming the wind dies down, and I won't post until the evening, unless I find a wi-fi hotspot at Sugarloaf. (I wish I could just keep going North, in the manner of Glen Gould, and arrive at the interesting Plato conference at Toronto this weekend, which Rachel Barney has organized, yet unfortunately I can't attend that after all.)

In the meantime, please contribute your thoughts on Rickless' reading of the TMA. I'll give you my own objections to it tomorrow.
